GP & Other Vacancies
Considering a career in medicine in a rural setting with a mix of the best of city life and country appeal? Then look no further than the Tamworth area. Tamworth is attracting people because of its lifestyle, healthy environment, vibrant retail sector, excellent schools and sporting facilities. Businesses are investing in the Tamworth region because of its growing population, its central location between Sydney and Brisbane and its strong “can do” attitude (see Tamworth Regional Development Corporation website - http://www.tamworthregion.com.au/index.cfm)
If you are a GP looking for a change of location, then consider Tamworth. Many of our current GPs only came for a couple of years – and that was twenty years ago!
