PIP Indigenous Health Incentive effective May 2010
Medicare’s new Practice Incentives Program (PIP) Indigenous Health Incentive will begin in May 2010. There are three ways to be paid for participating: practice sign-on ($1,000), patient registration ($250 per patient), and chronic disease management ($100 per patient). Medicare Australia will write to PIP practices early in 2010, with an invitation to apply for the PIP Indigenous Health Incentive.
